WebbAdjective clauses add more information to a sentence. They usually begin with who, which, that, where, when, whose, whom, whoever, etc to modify the noun. Let us take an example. In this simple sentence, ‘blue’ is the adjective. We use the adjective clause ‘which was blue’ to modify the noun ‘shirt’. This is a complex sentence.
