WebBeautiful Caves and Waterfalls. Sep 2024. We stopped at Ferne Clyffe State Park while traveling in the Shawnee Hills. It was a really beautiful little park. The main waterfall wasn't flowing when we visited but the gorge is beautiful and its an easy hike. We also hiked to Hawk's Cave, which is a massive shelter cave.
