WebMar 18, 2024 · The sound with the Faber is round and nice, but definitively the signal going through the pickups is weaker. I have tried several times, and I have checked that the pickup height to the strings is exactly the same one with both bridges, but with the Faber the sound is weaker. If one is going for a brighter overall presentation I'd suggest trying steel ABR-1 Thumbwheels and/or Steel Tailpiece Studs, versus brass in these positions.
